About us

Specialization of Service Technology LLC is the complex anticorrosion protection

Our company managed to implement the full set of technological operations on the basis of a single technological cladding module. Cladding is the formation of multi-layer metal and composite coatings for any solid surfaces.

The purpose of cladding is to create a protective and decorative layer with special properties (heat resistance, acid resistance, corrosion resistance, high hardness / adhesion / shock load, anti-adhesive properties, anti-icing) on a contact / work surface of different structures.

The overwhelming majority of solid / working surfaces, both metal and non-metal, requires the application of protective and decorative coatings. One of the main problems is fighting against corrosion of ferrous metals. A bright example of corrosion is rust on the surface of steel and cast iron products; another example is timber and board materials based on it (plywood, chipboard and high-density fiberboard), reinforced concrete and reinforced concrete structures, brick, etc.

According to research conducted by National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE), USA, damage caused by corrosion and expenses on fight with it are assessed as 3.1% from the US GDP.

In order to guarantee the longstanding durability of protective-decorative coating, we need to follow the complex approach to the technology of protective coating application, together with the understanding of details of the technology of surface preparation for finishing and this finishing itself. In our opinion, the following characteristics are the most important from the point of view of any coating anticorrosion and protective resistance:

1.1 Coating adhesion is the degree of cohesion of the applied coating on the surface (substrate) of parts of the processed structures. The higher this adhesion is the better is the coating durability. Adhesion is determined by the substrate preparation quality.

1.2. Coating thickness. The coating service life depends on the coating thickness. For example, powder zinc coating with the thickness of 100 microns guarantees that no corrosion traces will appear on the surface of metal used in urban atmosphere during 25-30 years.

1.3 Surface preparation degree and quality prior to the protective-decorative coating application. Practice and experience of the leading manufacturers of paint-and-lacquer materials show that the surface preparation prior to application is conditioning for the service life of any coating.
